Volunteer work is not just an item on a resume or college application – it’s an essential part of a functioning society. The benefits of volunteer work reach far and wide with a ripple effect that begins with the individual and nonprofit organization and extends beyond the larger community, benefiting everyone in its wake.
In order to work well with the staff and to present TFAC in the best possible light, we ask that you adhere to the following policies and procedures while you are on duty as a volunteer. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or termination.
Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age to work without parental supervision, and must enjoy working with all types of people. They must show a genuine concern for the company. A willingness to work hard, get dirty, and pitch in wherever needed. The ideal volunteer is self-motivated, mature, sensitive, dependable, a team player and reliable.
Volunteers must agree to represent TFAC, perform in a professional manner whenever doing so, and not to allow personal views and opinions from clouding (overshadowing) or conflicting with the TFAC’s purpose.
Thank you for your interest in our organization.
In an effort to make certain that both TFAC and the partnered charity receive the proper work/compensation for their services, we ask each volunteer to provide us with a completed profile through this application form. As new events come on board with TFAC, we will use your profile in order to create the proper team or request your assistance with projects accordingly.
TFAC Organization encourages the participation of volunteers who support our mission. If you agree with our mission and are willing to be interviewed and trained in our procedures, we encourage you to complete this application. The information on this form will be kept confidential and will help us find the most satisfying and appropriate volunteer opportunity for you.
